This video shows the contents of my Kata backpack. Videos showing the different shoulder strap configurations can be found on the Kata website. I have been really happy with this backpack. It is the perfect size for what I wanted to carry, it's 10x more comfortable than the other backpacks I tried on, the little 'wings' and accompanying strap that goes around your waist are a huge help for long trips... one complaint I have is that there is no strap to go around your chest, but I bought a strap w/ buckle and I wrap it around the shoulder straps over my chest and it really helps distribute the weight better. This makes it impossible to swing the bag to the side for side-access, but I rarely use the bag in that configuration anyway. I find it's much more comfortable as a traditional backpack.

When I was a child I was always choking off pieces of candy and snacks at a later time to eat. If these desires are called, I thought I wanted to be prepared. "Your backpack is so heavy, what's in your bag?" My teenage friends laugh and ask jokingly. Later, he could always count on me snacks, painkillers, hand cream and, of course, the class textbook. A trusty handheld camera is also in tow. I like the resolution of the pictures versus using my smart phone, where the resolution can always be questionable and lightening is "hit or miss". You just never know when a memory will be created.

As a mom, it is essential to be prepared. By keeping your bag stocked you are prepared for most things that may come your way. In between meals, a delay on the way home, and how many times do little hands need wiping and sanitizing?
